- How do I develop an application for MMV? Development for the current version of MMV can be accomplished using standard Java development tools (Eclipse, JBuilder, text editor, etc.) The process is basically the same as developing any Java applet or application, with the exception of scaling, layout, and MVC rules that permit the app to be rendered in MMV's full range of device profiles. Further development resources are in the works, including a IDE plugin to aid programmers in adhering to those rules.
- How do I run my MMV application on-line? Release of an MMV app is accomplished via a free on-line compiler app that is included in the MMV environment. Source is uploaded to a user's (i.e. the programmer's) code library where it is checked for security and pan-platform operability. Then, the code is compiled, checked for errors, and finally made available for use in the user's Home panel as a clickable icon.
- How do I release my application to other users? Releasing your app to the MMV community is as simple as submitting it for review by members of the user community for the app's particular category of usage. If the app contributes in any useful way to MMV's app library, it will be made available to users.
